Experience
Applied experience in early-stage evaluation and risk management across mining, energy, and infrastructure projects, including:
-
Mineral potential evaluation and early-stage prospecting (exploration permits and mining claims in Neuquén, Río Negro, and Santa Cruz).
-
Slope stability analysis and geotechnical characterization (Route 43 landslide, Cerro de la Virgen, Chos Malal).
-
Geological modeling and analysis using GIS and remote sensing.
-
Participation in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) for large-scale energy infrastructure, including the Gasoducto Presidente Néstor Kirchner, among others.
Technical involvement in projects across multiple Argentine provinces (Neuquén, Río Negro, La Pampa, Santa Cruz, Córdoba, Salta, among others), covering:
-
Mineral exploration (gold, metallic deposits, silica sands).
-
Energy infrastructure (seismic risk assessment for pipelines; EIA for oil and gas pipelines).
-
Geological hazard assessment (rockfall analysis in San Martín de los Andes).
-
Groundwater resource prospecting.
-
Environmental baseline studies.
Collaboration with private companies, technical consulting firms, and individual clients, providing technical analysis in high-uncertainty environments and supporting early-stage decision-making.
Professional experience within national institutions related to strategic mineral resources, including a leadership role as Head of the Mining and Processing Engineering Division at the Comisión Nacional de Energía Atómica (CNEA), with involvement in geological analysis, site characterization, and project evaluation.
Training and professional work under international standards associated with the International Atomic Energy Agency, including participation in technical activities in China, Mongolia, Japan, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic.
Participation in a geological field campaign in the Argentine Antarctic, under the Dirección Nacional del Antártico (DNA), conducting survey and characterization tasks under highly complex logistical and environmental conditions, strengthening field experience in remote and high-uncertainty geological settings.
Teaching experience at the Universidad Nacional del Comahue and Universidad Patagonia Argentina in geotechnics, environmental geology, and Earth sciences.
